Our company developed a wide range of machines with double marking station for hot marking with tape on PE pipes.
This to identify the pipes for gas application in compliance with “BS” or to customize your pipes with a double synchronized marking that allows you to read the legend if the pipe is installed rotated.

The hereinafter pictures show clearly the principle allowing to have on the upper and lower wheels: meter counters, coders for the date, devices for marking of the pipe diameter and thickness.
The two marking stations are synchronized and connected with a cardan joint that appears clearly in the picture.

Hot marking devices with

Our R & D department has developed a special marking device for in-line marking of PVC – PE – PP – PPR with hot application of special holograms created specifically for your company. The purpose of the hologram is to identify your products with a special design, brand or symbol that is unique and not reproducible by other companies, since it is made with patented principles.

NEW RADIAL PRINTERS FOR

RIGID PVC AND PE PIPES

It is not always easy to determine the correct connection between the rigid PVC & HDPE pipe spigot end and the socket
This hot foil printer marks a circle around the pipe’s circumference at the spigot end, during the pre-
heating phase, while the pipe is rotating in the belling machine. This marked ring tells the field installer how far to push the pipe into the socket.
Now that it is possible to bell PE pipes, Gnata’s printers have become a necessary asset for those who want a clean and clear marking on their products.
Color thermal transfer of printing is a marking method which offers strong resistance to abrasion and environmental agents. Hot marking is the most durable. We stock printing tape in 10 colors to provide easy identification of pipes according to their end use.

PLANETARY RUN AROUND PRINTERS FOR

PP OR HDPE CORRUGATED PIPES

Thanks to almost 60 years of experience in the hot marking field, GNATA was the first to develop a hot foil printer for marking on
corrugated pipes in-line and in continuous cycle.
The planetary motion of the printer allows it to print on the top of round or flat corrugation.
Different models are available according to the minimum and maximum pipe diameter to be marked.

Advantages of the Planetary “Run-Around” Marking System

• An electronic systems find the marking pitch and the correct marking synchronization on top of the corrugation;
• Flexible system of marking characters on a 2ft. marking wheel to form any combination of writings;
• Long work cycle is achieved by using “pancake” tape 2,200 meters long;
• User-friendly PLC with touch screen where all parameters can be easily set. Flexibility regarding choice of the marking pitch and ample marking capabilities on the pipe’s circumference;
• Crisp high quality and permanent markings. Different colors of tape are available.
